Small Group Courses

MathSP uses previous test scores and/or diagnostic tests to establish a baseline score and form small groups with a maximum of 10 students per group. Each student individually benefits from the small size while also learning and interacting with peers. During each 3.5 hour session, designed as such to build endurance and simulate a real testing experience, students work both independently and together to solve problems to ensure individual competence is met. The small class size allows coaches to move at a comfortable pace for the group.  Furthermore, the Small Group Plus Private Coaching option allows students to combine the group learning experience with 6 hours of one-on-one coaching to receive individualized focus and personalized attention on the areas they need it most.

Additional Features of Small Group Courses:

  • 28 hours of classroom learning covering all sections of the test: Math, Reading, English, Science, and Writing
  • Homework assignments that revisit concepts, reinforce strategies, and evaluate your child’s understanding of course material
  • Homework review each session using the Facilitative Approach
  • Real ACT practice test to simulate a realistic testing experience and to track improvement
  • Timed practice ACT sections each session
