MathSP Coaches Help Students Achieve Their Academic Goals
Our Academic and Test Prep Coaches are committed to providing students with strategies and problem-solving skills essential for their success in their Math and Science classes or on the GMAT, GRE, GACE, SSAT, PSAT, SAT, ACT, or AP Exams.
Our Coaches
Academic Coaches work with students one-on-one to improve their understanding and outcomes. They assist students with their schoolwork, using facilitative approaches to understand each student’s strengths and weaknesses. Coaches collaborate with parents and teachers to better understand the student’s needs and goals. They follow the curricula outlined by each student’s teacher to enable students to master the content they encounter on homework assignments, quizzes, and tests. They also identify gaps that may exist in their students’ foundation and work to close such gaps – building confidence while strengthening weaknesses.
Test Prep Coaches prepare students for standardized exams by teaching test concepts, strategies, and time-saving tips. Coaches train students using real practice test problems created by the test-maker and track students progress to identify their strengths and areas for improvement. They customize learning plans for each student to strengthen areas that need improvement and build upon strengths. They work to ensure that each individual is well prepared to achieve his target test scores to be best positioned for successful college admission.
At MathSP, we value coaches who are not only incredibly talented with demonstrated expertise in the subject matter, but also who are able to communicate their knowledge effectively in an interactive setting. We offer our coaches flexible working hours with a minimum of 3 hours per week. Our coaches work with students in private sessions and/or small group courses.
Our pay rate varies according to the specific academic subject or test. However, our rates are very competitive. We give bonuses based on results, feedback from clients, and impact on student success. We also have special projects and opportunities that coaches may partake in for additional compensation.
