The Georgia Student Assessments measure students’ achievement of state-mandated curriculums. Is your child prepared to pass the Criterion-Referenced Competency Tests (CRCT), End-of-Course Tests (EOCT), and/or Georgia High School Graduation Tests (GHSGT)? At MathSP, we can help your child succeed in the Math portion of these mandatory state exams.

CRCT

The CRCT is required for middle school students. A cumulative end-of-year assessment is required by the state to measure how well students acquire, learn, and retain the knowledge from a particular curriculum. MathSP can help your child prepare for the Math portion of the CRCT.

EOCT

The EOCT is required for students in grades 9-12 in core classes (as well as middle school students taking high school core classes). MathSP can help prepare your child for the Mathematics I test, which includes algebra, geometry, and statistics, and the Mathematics II test, which includes geometry, algebra II, and statistics.

GHSGT

The GHSGT is required for students in the state of Georgia to graduate from high school. There are four content areas tested, including Math. Ensure that your child is ready for the Math portion of the GHSGT and sign up for MathSP coaching today!

The AP Calculus AB Exam is designed to assess your understanding of Calculus concepts including functions, derivatives, limits, and integrals.

The AP Calculus BC Exam is designed to assess your understanding of Calculus concepts including the topics covered in the AP Calculus AB Exam plus additional concepts relating to polynomial approximations and series.

Both the AP Calculus AB and AP Calculus BC Exams are each 3-hours and 15-minutes and are outlined as follows:

Sections Time Number of Questions Calculator Use
Multiple Choice 105 Minutes 45 Total Part A: 28 (55 min) Not permitted
Part B: 17 (50 min) Graphing calculators required
Free Response 90 Minutes 6 Total Part A: 2 (30 min) Graphing calculators required
Part B: 4 (60 min) Not permitted

The AP Statistics Exam is designed to assess your understanding of four broad themes in Statistics. These topics, as well as their approximate percentage of the test, are as follows:

Topics Description Approximate % of Test
Exploring Data Use of graphical and numerical techniques to study patterns and departures from patterns 20-30%
Sampling and Experimentation Plan and conduct a study by clarifying a question and deciding upon a method of data collection and analysis 10-15%
Anticipating Patterns Explore random phenomena and anticipate distribution of data using probability and simulation 20-30%
