Suzanne C. (and Mark C.) – St. Pius X Parent (and Student)
“Dear MathSP, as you know, we have been customers for my son Mark since last year. When I initially called, we were in a bit of a panic with pre-Calculus. Mark was having trouble and the student tutoring at St. Pius was just not enough. I called on a weekday at 4 pm and in less than 24 hours, Mark’s MathSP Coach had called me, reviewed the pertinent sections, and began tutoring Mark in preparation for a test the next day that would have otherwise gone very badly. Mark passed the test after just one 1.5 hour tutoring section with Vivek. As we continued the tutoring with his coach, Mark’s pre-Calc grade continued in an upward trajectory and at the end of the day he went from a D to a high B. Had we started the tutoring earlier, there is no doubt in my mind that Mark would have made an A in the class. His coach connected with Mark on many levels and made the tutoring sessions productive and enjoyable. He even managed to reverse Mark’s growing dislike of math.
We also used his coach to help prepare for the SAT. Mark’s baseline was a 1230 with his Math score being in the mid 500’s. After a couple of hours with his coach preparing for the SAT, Mark’s score rose to 1310 with a math score of 650. We are again using his coach as a tutor for Mark’s senior year. He has been helping Mark with AP Stats as well as working with Mark for a third pass at the SAT this year. Based on his progress so far, I would not be surprised if Mark’s SAT score will be in the 1400’s.
Your service has been worth its weight in gold. You are our go to and I recommend your service to anyone who needs a tutor. There are no words to adequately describe our admiration and gratitude for Mark’s coach – he is an amazing teacher and man!!!”
Anna B. – St. Pius X Student
“Before MathSP, I used to fail most of my math and chemistry tests and did not understand the material whatsoever. I would get lost in class and not understand any of the concepts being taught by my teachers. When I signed up for tutoring, my academic coach made all of the material clear to me, and I finally understood the concepts. MathSP has brought up my grades tremendously. I used to make C’s on my geometry tests and now I make A’s. I feel confident in both geometry and chemistry now. Without my coach, I would still be failing these subjects. She has made everything much better and more clear. I enjoy having her as my tutor and do not what I’d do without her. She is the best tutor ever!”
Amerie M. – Alpharetta High School Student
“Coach Corey is easy to talk to and he understands what you’re trying to convey even when you can’t articulate it yourself thoroughly. He elaborates on topics and brings a deeper understanding. He sets up great practice questions and other useful resources. He tells you your strengths and weaknesses and what you should work on. My chemistry grade is going up!!!”
Steve R. – The Lovett School Parent
“I am e-mailing regarding the outstanding work by Coach LaRita for my daughter Sarah who is a high school freshman. Sarah was struggling quite a lot in Geometry. Her three exam scores were 77, 57 and 77. After one session with Coach LaRita, Sarah’s next exam shot up to the 90’s. She has continued that success over the last several months of working with Coach LaRita, who has also started helping Sarah in Biology with similar results. Coach LaRita is a joy to work with, very flexible in meeting our busy schedules and has truly helped Sarah become a good math and science student. We cannot say enough good things about her.”
Matt G. – St. Pius X Parent
“We just wanted to drop you a quick email and say thank you!! With your support and Grace’s extra work, she scored a 88 on her final exam!! A huge achievement. Thanks so much for your commitment. We look forward to starting off the 2nd semester with a newfound commitment to Geometry.”
Kimberly B. – Druid Hills Parent
“I’m sure Kendra will tell you about it during your next session, but I want to express my appreciation for the incredible support you’re giving my daughter. We had a great time together. She was poised and comfortable talking with the various reps at the college fair. I think she discovered a few schools of interest that she didn’t previously know about! Thanks so much for everything you’re doing with her!”
Maureen A. – Duluth High School Parent
“My daughter was in her last 6-8 weeks of her AP Calculus course when her teacher had to leave for the rest of the year. My daughter’s grade at the time was much lower than desired and she needed extra prep for the AP Calculus test. MathSP Coach Nathan was very flexible with his time and met with Grace 5-6 times (about once a week) prior to the AP Calc final. My daughter shared that Nathan was able to help her with preparation for the AP Calc final as well as work with materials provided by Grace for the AP Calc college board test. The results were great! Grace pulled her grade up to a B and got a 3 on the AP Calc test itself.”
Moraima I. – Woodward/Atlanta Girls’ School/Home School Parent
“Coach Stephanie is awesome and I have referred several people to MathSP. Janie is doing awesome in Calculus with Stephanie’s help and hope she will be able to take an AP or Honors math course next semester. Thank you!”
Kelsey L. – Mount Vernon Presbyterian School Student
“My tutoring sessions are very convenient because we cover everything that my teacher teaches in school. My coach helps me with topics that I need to improve on, which gives me a better understanding of math. Last year, Algebra started off pretty rocky. My MathSP coach helped me when I was hanging on by the thread. My grade shot up like a rocket! That’s when I knew this was the place for me. Now, I’m in Geometry and with the help of my coach, I’m off to a good start. Thanks so much!”
Dionysia J-M. – Woodward Academy Parent
“My son’s Coach LaRita has been extremely dedicated in the sessions to help him understand various concepts in both geometry and biology and wonderfully flexible in scheduling and considering ways to help Trey understand the various concepts. She is focused, well prepared and desires to do a great job. We very much appreciate her assistance and our son feels as though he is learning a great deal from her.”
Sandra H. – Parkview High School Parent
“I want to take this opportunity to acknowledge MathSP Coach Judy on the outstanding job she did with my daughter, Sabree. Sabree was able to get a B out of her Accelerated Integrated Geometry class. Coach Judy was readily available to help Sabree, and Sabree gained so much confidence during her session with Coach Judy. They had a great rapport together, and as a parent, that means so much to me. Furthermore, once Coach Judy had gone out of town, and Sabree had a question. Coach Judy told Sabree to email her the problem, and she worked it out for Sabree and explained each step. I have only positive things to say about Coach Judy; she is amazing!”
Laurie B. – Decatur High Parent
“MathSP Coach Shivam has been a tremendous help to Graham with his math! His grades have really improved! He got a 92 on his last exam, which is about 20 points higher than he had on his last one before he starting meeting with Coach Shivam. We are so grateful!”
Suzanne H. – St. Pius X Parent
“I wanted to say Thank You! MathSP Coach Luke has been great with working with Erin on her Pre-Calculus class and she is doing so much better!”
Lynn S. – St. Pius X Parent
“I added some more hours for Claire. MathSP Coach Bambo has been a huge help for her with AP Physics! So glad Suzanne recommended you all!”
Colette A. – The Marist School Parent
“MathSP Coach Nathan has been a lifesaver! Joe has improved tremendously in statistics and physics.”
Alicia S. – Arabia Mountain High School Parent
“I brought my son to MathSP when he started to struggle in math in 6th grade. He had gone to the after school Math Lab at his school, but it was not helping at all. After just one tutorial session, MathSP academic coach was able to identify the reason that he was struggling in math. She told me that my son knew how to do the problems, but he was going too fast and skipping steps. After this first session, he made his first “B” on a math test since 5th grade! My son is now in 9th grade and doing well in Algebra. I owe it all to her ability to diagnosis the reason he was struggling in math. I plan for my son to continue to go to MathSP until he graduates from high school and even beyond!”
Christian W. – Chamblee Charter High School Student
“Greetings from FSU. Just a quick note to say THANK YOU for the AP Statistics tutoring help! I passed the AP Statistics exam and got college credit for the class. Your help made all the difference. I’m taking Calculus now. If I get stuck can I still send you an email? Luckily, I’m starting my freshman year of college with 12 credits! Thanks so much!”
Bart J. – Southwest DeKalb High School Student
“My sessions with MathSP helped me better understand math. The one-on-one sessions covered everything and they allowed me to take my time or as much time as I needed to understand the material. For anyone who has a problem with learning and retaining math, these sessions help a lot and will help you better understand math. Before I started my sessions, I was lagging behind and I could never retain what my school math teacher was teaching. I could never keep up with the class. When I started my sessions, in no time I felt more accustomed to math. I stayed with the class, pulled up my failing grade, and even scored high on the Georgia High School Graduation test and End of Course Test. These sessions are very informative and will work for anyone having problems with math!!!”
Eliott S. – Arabia Mountain High School Student
“MathSP has helped me a lot! I had a hard time with math in middle school. So, I came to MathSP. My coach teaches me the right way to do any kind of math and gives me lots of tips that really help. Now I know just to slow down, look at the problem, and think about the steps. I passed the math part of the CRCT by 15 points – that meant I didn’t have to go to summer school with the 300+ students who did not pass. Now, I am in high school, and I am doing really well in math!”

Catherine T. – Decatur High School Student
“In addition to intense skill review and practice, my coach gave me the confidence I needed going into the test. My score went up 130 points after just a few sessions with her! I have no doubt that with more time with her I would have improved my score by an even greater amount.”
Keriema N. – Greater Atlanta Christian School Parent
“Last time we were in contact was right after Jalen took the SAT in December. He took it again on June 3, and we received the scores today. On the math section, he scored a 770 and on the reading/writing section, he scored a 640. We are looking at a combined score of 1410 and are overjoyed by this 150 point increase! I just wanted to check in and let you know how he is progressing. Thanks again!”
Kimberly B. – Druid Hills Parent
“Kendra is reluctant to send an email to brag, but I’m not! She was accepted Early Decision to Smith College and awarded a wonderful STRIDE academic scholarship. We are so proud and very excited. She also received recognition as an Outstanding Participant in the National Achievement Scholarship Program for being in the top 3% of Black American students who took the PSAT in October 2013. Thank you for your support of her in so many ways over the past few years. I hope you, your family and the MathSP program are flourishing. Many thanks!”
Brittiany R. – North Atlanta High School Student
“I’m extremely happy! I went from 1110 to a 1350!”
Ainissa F. – Stephenson High School Student
“Thanks to you I went into my SAT with confidence, took the test with confidence, and left with confidence. The test was pretty good, and I saw that my timing has defiantly improved. The only sad part was that regardless of what I ate I still felt hungry. Thanks for being awesome!”
Gloria E. – North Springs Charter School Parent
“Good day, I would like to let you know Morgan received her SAT results today. Thank you very much for your services, it was worth every penny.”
Randy L. – Druid Hills High School Parent
“We started out with our oldest daughter taking the MathSP SAT test prep course and were so impressed that we enrolled her in the academic math tutoring as well, and enrolled our other daughter in the tutoring and summer math readiness program. In both instances, our daughters achieved higher results and greater confidence. What makes MathSP worth the investment is the coach’s approach of providing instant feedback in a warm, friendly, and inviting environment. Unlike other tutoring and test prep companies, MathSP identifies the problem areas and addresses them in real time, so your child has mastery before he/she leaves the class.”
Theron P. – The Lovett School Student
“I just wanted to inform you that I got a 1310 on the October 1st SAT. I am very happy with my 120 point increase and I would like to thank you for all your help!”
Caroline F. – Parent
“I am pleased that our family found MathSP. The instruction provided by Coach Femi has been thorough and clear. He is able to break concepts down so they make sense my kids. MathSP is fulfilling a void, and I am so grateful.”
Dian C. – ABC Parent
“Hi, I just wanted to send you some feedback on my son. He took the MathSP SSAT Prep course offered through A Better Chance and raised his overall SSAT score by 18 points (97%) and 99% in Math. This is amazing because he now has heavy interest from Exeter and Andover, in addition to five of the other top ten boarding schools. I just wanted to say THANK YOU!!! The MathSP coaches were great!”
Mark P. – Woodward Academy Student
“I liked my coach’s enthusiasm, knowledge, intelligence, and different approaches to the SAT problems. I also liked the strategies and short-cuts that save time. Initially, I did not feel that confident about the SAT, but after this class, I felt comfortable, confident, and prepared. My score increased 250 points!”
Reid P. – The Lovett School Student
“I got my latest SAT scores and there was major improvement! My Math jumped to a 680, Reading 660, and Writing 700! That’s a total of 180 point improvement. I’m glad for these improvements as I now have a 2040 combined score!”
Joy S. – Marist School Parent
“Eduardo took the SAT on Nov. 2, 2013, and did significantly better than previously! He scored 600 on the writing section (his first writing section was 480 or 490 so to go from that score to this score is exceptional!!!!), 690 on the math section, and 600 on the critical reading section. I am pleased with 690 in the math section up from his previous score in the 500’s, and he was in the 93rd percentile on the math section so only 7 percent of ALL the students taking that test on that day scored higher!!! That is something to brag about!
Thanks again for working with my son. That was the best money I have ever spent! I cannot thank you enough for helping to motivate my son to do his best. He really listened to you, sir. We thank you so very much!”
Riley C. – Marist School Student
“So I took the test last Saturday and things went great! The thing I noticed that was different about my testing was the fact that I actually KNEW how to do the problems. Going through the steps and strategies with you really helped. Thank you so much for everything! MathSP was a great help and made a significant improvement in my testing abilities overall.”
Bernardo E. – Emory PREP Student
“I got my scores back! I got a 1910, which really surprised me because I was aiming for an 1800 this time. My Critical Reading improved 30 points, Math improved 100 points (to a 710… yes!), and Writing improved 30 points. That’s a total of 160 points! I’m very thankful for all the help you gave me.”
Ruth F. – Decatur High School Parent
“I want to thank you so very much for your kind and thoughtful support of Arthur in preparation for the SAT. He speaks highly of you and has felt great support. My husband and I thank you for this kindness and assistance.”
Evan D. – Stephenson High School Student
“I have just received my SAT scores and am completely ecstatic! I improved my score in Math, Critical Reading, and Writing a total of 130 points! Thank you for your help in achieving these scores!”
Nafiyyah A. – Tech High School Student
“I would like to thank you for a wonderful experience. My Math score alone increased by 90 points! I really enjoyed the SAT class. I learned so much from you. I found the SAT was fairly easy. I was able to answer each problem without any difficulties. Taking your class really helped me a lot on the test. Thank you again for being an excellent teacher.”
Graham B. – Decatur High School Student
“I am so excited. I raised my score 100 points in only a few weeks! The strategies you taught me really helped! I am very appreciative of your help.”
Chandler E. – Woodward Academy Student
“After completing the course, I felt more prepared and extremely confident that I was going to do well on the SAT. My coach was very enthusiastic and made me actually want to do the homework – and believe me, that is an accomplishment. I really appreciated the one-on-one time because not everyone has the same questions. With my coach’s help, my score improved more than I expected: 170 points!”
Brandon M. – Woodward Academy Student
“As a senior in high school preparing to take the SAT for a second time, my family and I sought hands-on assistance and found it in MathSP test prep. My Critical Reading SAT score was solid, but my performance on the Math section needed improvement to make my overall score more competitive. My MathSP instructor was a fantastic help to me in a number of ways: he helped me to reinforce and hone my skills in geometry and trigonometry, and algebra and his methods of teaching gave me the confidence boost I needed to take the test a second time. He was a great representation of the MathSP Bridge Program and the positive impact that it has on the Greater Atlanta community. Upon completion, I raised my Math score by 70 points!”
Wheda A. – Parent
“Her scores increased tremendously on her latest SSAT!!!!!!!!!! She went from the 17% in math to the 45% in only 3 hours of tutoring. Incredible!!!!! Thank you so much for all of your hard work!!!!!!!”
Ibby R. – High School Student in Great Britain
“MathSP helped me to improve my critical thinking skills by teaching me unique ways of solving reading, writing and math problems. During the SAT, I was able to finish the multiple-choice sections early, so I had time to go back over my answers. I raised my score 160 points! My coach taught me problem-solving skills that will also help me in college. Thanks so much for your help!”
Wilma T. – Parent
“Wanted to give you an update on Chris. He scored his highest ever on the SAT last month – thanks to you! Your assistance made a big difference in this test.”

“I realized early on while studying for the GRE that I would need help with the mathematics section. My coach from MathSP was great! We met once a week for five weeks and he was always so supportive and encouraging while challenging me at the same time. I took the GRE recently and am so happy with my scores – my coach made all the difference! (Days later) Just wanted to let you know that KSU called me tonight – and extended an offer to start the program in the fall! So excited, although I don’t think it’s really sunk in yet. Thank you again for all your help!”
Angela D.
“I took my test and improved a lot for a small period of time! My quant increased from 20th percentile to 47th percentile. I am excited about the progress I made so far. You helped break everything down in an easier way. Prior to tutoring, I was very nervous about quant since I haven’t touched math at all since I was 15, but now I have fun doing math again and have become more nervous about the verbal section, lol. Thank you for all of your help!”
Sady D.
“…it goes without saying, my GRE coach was excellent. He structured each session to my personal learning style and provided me the tools to tackle each problem in a logical manner. He made sure I articulated each problem so it made sense me, drawing diagrams/patterns to visualize concepts, exploring creative alternatives, and double checking the final solutions. While some of the concepts were either challenging or completely foreign to me, I felt he helped me break down the problems into manageable parts. I am much more prepared now then I was before. Thank you again for your encouragement and for instilling more confidence in me in taking the exam.”
Bethelhem W.
“I feel very prepared for the GRE after taking this course. Now I actually feel that I have a shot at getting an 800 in the Math section! I liked the organization of the course – its progression built up from session to session and was easy to follow. Furthermore, my coach’s teaching style was great!”
Taiwannika W.
“My coach was very helpful with explaining the Math concepts. The set-up and everything about this course was excellent!!”
Stefanie W.
“If you need to increase your GRE score, this is the course you need. Very informal and relevant!”
Belinda R.
“My favorite aspects about the course were: the course structure, interactivity between the students and the coach, and opportunity to ask and address all of my questions. The coach’s facilitative teaching style was great – she did a fantastic job of teaching a concept and requiring students to apply concepts in different ways.”
Amina A.
“There was always something to learn in this course… from the many Math concepts to the time-saving strategies. MathSP’s Quantitative GRE prep helped me score above the 75th percentile! My coach was very knowledgeable, personable, and professional in her instruction – a wonderful combination and very rare to find in a program that doesn’t break the bank. Thank you so much!”
Praise for The GMAT Ladder Program
“When I took my first GMAT practice test and scored a 400, I thought I would never be able to get my score up to an acceptable level for the programs of my choice. After sessions with my MathSP coach, I was able to bring my score up to 580 the first time I took the GMAT. Last Monday, I took the GMAT a second time and scored a 680. My score increased 280 points! I can’t thank you enough for all of your help! Here’s the funny thing: The math part almost seemed easy! My coach really took the extra time to make sure I understood the concepts and could apply them to the different parts of the test. The classes were organized and efficient. I always left with a greater understanding of math principles and, on practice problems, I grew more confident with the strategies. Of all of the GMAT study methods I tried, MathSP’s methods were by far the best. I am so appreciative that MathSP was recommended to me. I will happily talk to any student who is interested in MathSP; the coaches really know test prep and do an excellent job teaching and communicating information. Thanks again for helping me reach my goals and my potential!” – Caroline D.
“MathSP’s Ladder Program was basically what got me accepted into the business school of my choice. I had good credentials for my application, but my GMAT score was just average. My verbal score was pretty high, but my quantitative score was extremely low and needed a lot of improvement. The problem was, I had never been very good at math, and thought I never would be. Thankfully, someone on the admissions committee recommended the MathSP program, so I decided to give it a shot and see if I could raise my quantitative score. After the program, I retook the GMAT and scored a 700!! An improvement of 90 points overall, and an increase of 40 percentage points on my quantitative score! MathSP’s program is the most effective I’ve seen. I took another more ‘well-known’ course before I took the GMAT the first time, and it did not even come close to preparing me for the quantitative section of the GMAT the way MathSP did. MathSP’s Facilitative Approach really is the best way to ensure students are familiar with the material and get them comfortable working through problems together. The most unique thing about this program is that the coach actually teaches the material you need to know and encourages a deep understanding of material – most other courses are more concerned with teaching you ‘tips & tricks’ that don’t really help you on the test, and certainly won’t help you once you start dealing with quantitative subjects in school. The Ladder Program encourages intensive study, repetition, practice, and confidence – and it works. I never thought I could score a 700 on the GMAT, but I did. And I have MathSP to thank!” – Carolyn P.
“Great news!!! I scored a 710 today! I am so happy that I decided to invest my time (and money) on the Ladder Program! Before enrolling, I had already prepared for the GMAT on my own. I learned so much more from my MathSP classes! This course exceeded my expectations; my coach was very patient and explained everything very clearly. Even if sometimes I would have liked the class to go a little faster, I think that the extra time spent revisiting the basic Math concepts was extremely helpful. The course structure was great; we covered so much in so little time, and the homework, always related to what we saw in class, was a great way to deepen what we covered. I highly recommend this course to all of my friends who need to take the GMAT. I have taken Kaplan classes before (for SAT & LSAT), and I felt that the instructors were unprepared and really did not care if students succeeded or not. Also, those classes were larger, so it was hard to get specific questions answered. MathSP was completely the opposite!” – Fernanda B.
Shashi P.
“I definitely recommend MathSP to anyone who cares the least bit about their GMAT score. The course is well worth the time and money. I originally took the GMAT after self-prep and scored a 620. I am a quantitative person but the GMAT math section shattered my confidence. The MathSP class focuses on fundamentals and teaches you important concepts/tricks to quickly and effectively handle GMAT math. With the small class size, each person receives more than enough attention. It is a very interactive class that reinforces all concepts covered in previous classes. Another aspect that really sets this class apart from others are the coaches. You have the opportunity to pick the mind of a brilliant person who genuinely cares about your success on the GMAT. That alone, I believe is worth enrollment. The Saturday after my last class, I scored a 720. Increased my score by a full 100 points and surpassed my goal of 700. My quantitative percentile increased by 26 points. Very satisfied with the course. I feel the class prepared me to do even better than I did. With more practice, my score could easily have been higher. Great class, don’t miss out!”
Niket P.
“The GMAT was AMAZING. I got a 710 (92%) up from a 620 (69%) – 83% quantitative and 84% verbal. Thanks so much for all of your help! Going through the practice problems from the OG in class was so important – but I think even more important was learning the concepts. If you just do the practice problems without understanding the concepts then its not as helpful. MathSP does both, and this really made a difference. I was not expecting to do this well. Thanks so much!”
Sean C.
“I came to MathSP to help prepare for my GMAT. Needless to say, Math was a foreign subject to me, as I haven’t thought about Math since high school. Even in my prime math studying days, Math was never a strong suit of mine. My coach has helped me and continues to help me break down the barriers of complication, and make Math simple. What really draws me is her level of GMAT comfort. Any math tutor can teach math. But, can they help prep a student for a life-altering test such as the LSAT, GMAT, etc? I’ve come to the realization that there is Math… and then there is GMAT Math. There are tutors… and then there are professional advisors and coaches. MathSP offers professional advisors and coaches, and I encourage anyone on the fence of wanting or needing to develop an understanding of math principles to leverage the knowledge that MathSP coaches provide.”
Ruth J-L.
“The MathSP Ladder program course exceeded my expectations. The concentration on the quantitative section of the GMAT was extremely helpful for me. I liked the lessons explaining all of the Math principles; the sessions were divided up appropriately and have tremendously helped me to study the various Math concepts tested. The problem-solving short-cuts were a huge help. Reviewing homework problems and solving them on the whiteboard was also great because it helped me to retain information and learn new methods for solving GMAT Math problems.”
Lindsey V.
“I took a Kaplan Prep course and was not pleased. All I learned were tips and tricks for the GMAT. I also found the problems used in class and in Kaplan books were not comparable to the problems on the actual GMAT. Needless to say, the tips and tricks did little for my score! MathSP taught me concepts and strategy using realistic GMAT problems from the Official Study Guide book. MathSP methods changed my thought process and how I approach the problems. The extra Math book we received in class was a HUGE help with basic math concepts! My coach was a wonderful teacher and explained things very well. My score has increased almost 100 points on my practice exams and I haven’t finished all of my preparation!!! I am confident I will have the same results on the day of my exam!”
Jason E.
“My experience with MathSP was wonderful. I did not realize how much work I needed to do to improve my Math Skills to perform better on the exam and overall math skills to perform better in business school. MathSP did a great job in getting me to the next level where I feel VERY confident in tackling any quantitative hurdles I will face in business school. I recommend her all the time to everyone I know looking to get into school… I got into Kellogg!”
Tad M.
“MathSP is the finest GMAT prep program in the Southeast today and my coach is one of the finest teachers anyone could wish to have. She is unmatched in her ability to teach and reach students at all levels. The combination of her calm demeanor and unmatched superior understanding of all facets of the subject matter make her the best possible coach. I have taken two courses from MathSP and she has assisted me in achieving results that previously were unattainable. I would recommend MathSP to anyone who wants to unlock the “code” to education, in general, and specifically, in mastering computer-adaptive testing. My coach is without a doubt the best coach for the GMAT, SAT or GRE. She is unmatched by any of her peers. There are a number of false “prophets” who exalt their teaching talents, but they are no match for what you can learn and achieve under her guidance. And, you will not meet a person who is more kind, pleasant and intelligent. She is simply the Best!”
Roy K.
“I had the pleasure of working with Stephanie Espy herself. Stephanie is a very gifted and brilliant mathematician. This is just one of her strong intellectual inclinations. Having studied under her we all noticed that she had a firm grasp of the subject matter and took good command of the class. She was able to relate with all students at their various depths of mathematical knowledge and to explain and simplify concepts. She always had an answer to the questions we asked. It was great studying under her and professionally relating with her as an individual.”
Jennifer E.
“I have been very pleased working with my coach. She is very organized, offers multiple approaches and encourages the students to participate. After just three sessions, I have not only improved my score, but I understand why I am answering questions correctly and/or incorrectly. I am remembering math that I have not used in years and, when I struggle with a problem, I can rely on her systematic approach to help me reduce the answer choices.”
Felicia D.
“I was intimidated by math my entire academic career. When I made the decision to get an MBA, I knew I’d have to face my math phobia in order to get into a great school. That’s where Math SP fits in. My coach’s problem-solving strategies and knack for putting concepts into layman’s terms has me well on my way to GMAT success. If only she could have tutored me throughout high school and college!”
Ariel G.
“The coach from MathSP was extremely helpful and fun to work with. He helped me raise my GMAT score over 150 points since I began working with him. With his help, I was able to surpass my goal score by over 50 points. I highly recommend MathSP to anyone who is looking to raise their test score!”
Christine C.
“I would, and have, recommended MathSP to anyone. The classes are very intimate, which allowed me to be comfortable with asking for help. The course structure was effective, and my coach was very knowledgeable and patient; she would answer EVERY question – even if it were repeated 100 times. She gave everyone the opportunity to do well and provided easy-to-understand explanations and formulas. Overall, this course was outstanding!”
Dawn R.
“I had taken two other GMAT prep courses, and though my verbal score increased, I still struggled to achieve my point increase goal on the quantitative portion of the test. While working with my coach from MathSP, I was able to get a study plan that was tailored to my specific “problem areas.” Unlike mass-produced curricula of other test prep programs, MathSP focuses on the basic skill-sets behind the problem sets. I walked away with a set of tools and a strategy to tackle questions that I formerly had no idea how to approach. I left the tutoring sessions feeling armed and ready to go! I was empowered and focused. As a result, my score increased by 110 points!”

“My MathSP small group class was a wonderful experience. The coach’s passion for math contagious. As a result, I was never bored in class. I particularly liked the way we learned from our mistakes. Instead of the coach simply showing us how to solve the problems, she made us explain our thought process. As a result of this ‘facilitative’ approach, I was confronted with some of the flaws in my thought process, which had gone undetected for many years. I believe the overall effect is that I learned a better way to think about math instead of just how to solve a specific problem.”

“I surpassed my goal and increased my GMAT score by 110 points! My quantitative percentile increased by 21 percentage points. I felt a lot more confident on the GMAT this time around. There were concepts in this course that I overlooked when studying alone. I also feel that the one-on-one time was more efficient than taking a class. My coach and I spent more time on topics that I needed more help on and less on those I was already comfortable with. Thank you so much!”

“MathSP improved my GMAT score 120 points! I scored in the 60% in the Quantitative section, up from the 24%. The course was well organized, and breaking the information down by concept was very useful. Also, timing the problems as I worked through them and working the problems out on the board improved my confidence and my speed.”

“The course was very engaging. Specifically, I liked that we worked problems on the board because, during that time, it showed if you really understood the concepts. I appreciate my coach for re-instilling a sense of confidence of Math within myself.”

“My coach is absolutely awesome! Thank you for all your help. MathSP is definitely a step above the rest!!! Prior to MathSP, I took the GMAT twice and used Kaplan books to prepare. My score was not good enough. My coach’s facilitative teaching style was great, and the structure of the course was outstanding. This course is very practical and emphasizes Math concepts. I sincerely thank my coach for all her help and for believing in me. I got in!”
