There are various methods to learning, so we offer the following options which are all delivered by one of our expert GMAT Math instructors in an interactive setting and include timed practice sections, real practice tests, and concept-based homework assignments:
Private Tutoring: One-on-one tutoring provides personalized curriculum which allows students to move at their own pace to meet their specific needs and goals while offering convenient, flexible scheduling.
Small Group Courses: Groups of 4-10 students are taught in a setting that allows them to interact with peers and grow accustomed to the testing environment and length. Weekly Extra Help sessions are also provided to allow students additional time to perfect their skills and increase their knowledge.
Also, select MBA programs partner with MathSP to host GMAT Strategy Workshops for prospective students to help prepare them for success on the GMAT. Upcoming workshops are posted on the MathSP Calendar.
MathSP offers two primary ways of preparing for the Quantitative section of the GMAT: Private Tutoring and Small Group Courses. A higher Quantitative Score means a higher overall score. In Private Tutoring, instructors create a customized curriculum and meeting schedule to best meet your needs and goals.
Our Small Group Course is structured to provide you with the time needed to understand and retain the Math concepts, strategies, and problems presented. Using our signature approaches, concepts are taught in the order that best lends to mastering each topic and build upon previously-taught concepts. We provide you with a wealth of preparation and study materials for the GMAT, including materials from GMAC, the makers of the test, and an unlimited number of computer-adaptive practice tests.
The key to mastering the GMAT is the ability to identify, understand, and combat the questions in each section of the test using a systematic approach. This is accomplished by becoming familiar with the test structure and question types, and working through practice problems to learn methods and strategies that aid in solving questions accurately in the appropriate time. The test adapts to each individual based on his or her ability.
The skill level of the problems you will see in subsequent questions depends on how well you answer questions as they appear. The Quantitative section measures your ability to apply mathematical concepts, interpret data, and analyze information using two types of questions: Problem-Solving and Data Sufficiency. MathSP will teach you the concepts, tips and strategies to succeed on the Quantitative section of the GMAT.
My score increased 280 points! When I took my first GMAT practice test and scored a 400, I thought I would never be able to get my score up to an acceptable level for the programs of my choice. After sessions with my MathSP instructor, I was able to bring my score up to 580. Last Monday, I took the GMAT a second time and scored a 680. My score increased 280 points! – Caroline D., attended the Ladder Program
